Veterans Rights and Benefits
As soldiers return from war, they begin the difficult process of reassimilating into society. Numerous government acts have been passed over the years to help make this transition easier for our Veterans. Veterans Rights and Benefits is written for the returning, and active, soldier and his or her family in an effort to clarify those rights and benefits available to them, as well as explain some of the obstacles they may encounter in seeking them. The alamanac explains
such rights and benefits as:

BLeducation and vocational rehabilitation, which spans from college education and funding to basic reintigration rehabilitation

The role of the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in coordinating and administering these benefits,. Sample application forms, and process instructions are included, as well as the appeals process should a claim not be fully approved.
Offered programs and facilities, including medical facilities and cemetary directories, are mentioned, and resources are provided for further listings. The appendices include listings of benefit centers and military installations for all branches of the armed services. Sample applications, and the beneficial legislation have been provided, as well as participating insurance companies.
